Error 1311 pa561401.cab
A lot of people had the problem of ” Installation error file not found file pa561401.cab could not be found ” when they were trying to upgrade their copy of Microsoft office to the new one (Office 2007) , well, I had this problem myself and I managed to solve it.
Let me start by telling you not to try to download this file from anywhere. you already have it !
yes you do!, ok ok , I will stop talking and I will tell you what you should do about it.
First : copy office 2007 installation files to a folder on your hard disk. (from your CD or DVD, wherever).
2nd: make sure you have your office 2003′s CD or DVD in the CD/DVD-Rom.
3rd: start to install office 2007 now,
4th: done! everything is working now.
The most important thing is to have your old office 2003 installation files in the same place you installed it first time.
as the file pa561401.cab is one of office 2003 installation files .

I always had this ugly office error 1311 msg asking me to locate the file pa561401.cab , actually that put me off of having microsoft office 2007 installed on my laptop.
